ECO 416 - International Economics An analysis of the commercial and financial relations between the US and the rest of the world, covering topics ranging from trade to foreign exchange rates, with in-depth studies of exchange rates, balance of payments and trade restrictions. The development of the international monetary system will be given special emphasis, including a detailed comparison of floating exchange rates with workings of the gold standard and the Bretton Woods systems. Lecture 3 Credits Prerequisites: ECO 201 , ECO 202 . ECO 316 is desirable but not required Offered in Fall & Spring
