ECO 605 - Econometrics This course provides the student with an understanding of the principles of econometric modeling and its use in financial decision making. Single and multiple regression analysis, their assumptions, violations and consequences, along with ways of remedying the problems are thoroughly examined. This course will also provide insight into estimation using time series and panel data, and the use of instrumental and limited dependent variables. Students will have the opportunity to carry out an empirical project by completing literature review, collecting data, applying econometric analysis, and writing an empirical paper. Lecture 3 Credits Prerequisite: MBA 550 Offered When Needed
