HRM 634 - Human Resource Information Systems Design, evaluation, and implementation of human resource information systems (HRIS). This course examines the evolution of HRIS systems, database concepts and HR applications, organizational structure and process issues, HRIS implementation and costs, HR metrics and workforce analytics, system maintenance and updates, talent management and HRIS, HR functional applications (e.g., payroll and benefits), HRIS privacy and security issues, global HRIS issues, and HRIS challenges and opportunities including social networking, cloud computing, and open source software.
