HRM 675 - International Human Resource Management This course explains the theory and practice of Human Resource Management (HRM) in global firms. It discusses the HRM functions of employment planning and forecasting, staffing, compensation and benefits, training and management development, union and employee relations and health and safety for multinational corporations. Particular attention is paid to functions which vary from country to country and how departments handle them, e.g., employment regulations, benefits and wage taxation, expatriation and repatriation, discrimination, overseas compensation, and labor relations.
