SCM 602 - Sports Video/Field Production

This is an introductory course in video production with an emphasis on electronic sports-newsgathering (ENG) and electronic field production (EFP). Students are expected to master the technology necessary to produce and edit short video products. Students will also develop an appreciation of the unique power of video in the sphere of sports communication. Focus will be placed on technical skills with editing software and camcorders, as well as ability to analyze and criticize video productions.
