PR 630 - Practicum: Public Relations Consulting for the Community Public Relations Consulting for the Community is an advanced-level finale course. It offers second-year graduate students a professional, applied learning experience by working as a consultant team for a local small business and/or nonprofit organization. For 15 weeks, students create and implement communications plans and craft mission-based, audience-attracting messages for the partnering organization. Students’ responsibilities may include creating media materials, improving social media presence and building social media campaigns, content creation, and planning and working an event, all designed to support the goals and mission of the partnering organization. Practicum Credits: 3 Prerequisites: PR 604 , PR 609 , and PR 615 Offered in the Spring
