CSD 501 - Voice Disorders This course will address the physiologic, acoustic, and perceptual characteristics of voice disorders in children and adults. Current theories of the etiology and natural course of voice disorders will be discussed, with emphasis upon the biomechanics of abnormal voice production. Evidence-based assessment and treatment will be studied, including some of the medical and surgical interventions that may accompany voice therapy. Lecture Credits: 3 Offered in Spring Semester
