BIO 211 - Genetics This course will cover the concepts of transmission and molecular genetics including patterns of inheritance, genetic variation, the cellular basis of heredity, the nature of the genetic material, replication, the molecular biology of gene function, gene expression and regulation, model organisms, and methods and tools in modern genetics. Lecture Credits: 5 Prerequisites: C or better in BIO 101 and BIO 102
