Introduction to bacterial, viral, and eukaryotic microbes. Topics include microbial structure, classification, metabolism, growth, diseases, and general microbial laboratory techniques in the context of what is required in the medical field. This course is specifically designed for nursing students and is not a class to fulfill the science core requirements.
