MFT 300 - Relationship Enrichment: Introduction to Marriage and Family Therapy This undergraduate course explores the dynamics, challenges, and strategies for building and maintaining healthy, fulfilling relationships. Drawing on the principles of Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), students will examine key theoretical frameworks, communication techniques, and practical interventions designed to enhance relationship satisfaction and longevity. Through a combination of lectures, discussions, case studies, and hands-on exercises, students will gain a deep understanding of the factors that contribute to relationship well-being. The course will also address how relationships impact mental, emotional, and physical health. Key topics include relationship development, communication theories, and systemic approaches to understanding familial, romantic, and friendship dynamics. Students will learn how to apply these insights to improve relational functioning and promote overall wellness.
