CS 779 - Network Security This course introduces various attacks and threats that can take place in a computer network. The course discusses secure networking protocols, various wireless security protocols, and an introduction to operational security concepts. This is a hands-on course with multiple lab projects allowing students to investigate state-of-the-art network security principles. This course gives students an opportunity to learn about the various tools commonly adopted by ethical hackers. Students investigate current research in network security and write a paper on their findings. Lecture 3 Credits Prerequisites: CS 615 and CS 777 Offered in the Fall Semester
