CS 734 - Game Development The course is a hands-on introduction to game design and development. It provides a comprehensive look at the overall game development process - from concept creation and initial design to implementation, testing, and marketing of the finished product. Students gain hands on experience developing and integrating game components and scripts using a professional game engine, and graphics, audio, and video modeling tools. Proper software engineering techniques are emphasized throughout the course. Students are expected to independently research advanced topics in game development, virtual reality, or HCI devices used in simulations and gaming, and either apply their research in their course projects or write a detailed technical report.
