BIO 510 - The Living Environment This course is designed to provide an overview of the major areas in the Biological Sciences. Topics include the chemistry of life, the cell, genetics, the mechanisms of evolution, plant form and function, animal form and function, and exology. Upon completion of this course, students will be prepared for the remainder of the biology core requirements. This also includes inquiry-based assignments and a pedagogical component to meet NCATE and New York State Learning Standards. Lecture 3 Credits Offered in the Fall Semester
