A Bachelor of Science (BS) in nursing will prepare you as a Registered Nurse and much more. The Mission of the Iona College Department of Nursing is to educate students in an intellectually rigorous program of study to become skilled and compassionate providers of care, who can both initiate and adapt to change, engage in critical thinking in health care innovation, engage in bold leadership in pursuit of individual, family, community and professional advocacy, and seek knowledge wherever it presents itself in pursuit of a global culture of health.
