The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders offers the BA in speech/language pathology and audiology (HEGIS 1220). In addition, the department also offers a minor in healthcare communication.

Objectives
The major in speech and language pathology and audiology is designed to provide students with a pre-professional education and experience in theoretical and clinical aspects of speech-language pathology and audiology. The program is structured to comply with current guidelines specified by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
