Major Requirements
Students who choose to major in philosophy must complete the following:
History of Philosophy (6 credits)
Two courses (6 credits) chosen from:
Knowledge and Reality (3 credits)
One course chosen from either:
Thematic Studies (3 credits)
One course chosen from:
Value Studies (3 credits)
One course chosen from:
Philosophy Open Electives (6 credits)
Two additional courses from any of the above 300 level courses or:
Capstone Course (3 credits)
Non-Majors
All non-majors taking courses at the 300 and 400 level are normally required to have had one core course in philosophy (PHL 110 -PHL 210 ).
