- CS 202 - Computer Science II 4 Credits
- MTH 310 - Discrete Mathematics 3 Credits
- MTH 408 - Automata and Formal Languages 3 Credits
- 1 additional Mathematics course for major credit selected from the following list in consultation with an advisor: MTH 232, MTH 233, MTH 236, MTH 240, MTH 250, any 300 or 400 level MTH class. (3-4 Credits)
- One laboratory-based course acceptable for major credit in Biology, Chemistry or Physics to complete the sequence from the college core (such as BIO 102, BIO 225, CHM 110, PHY 102) (4-5 Credits)
- 2 additional courses in Biology, Chemistry or Physics acceptable for major credit (courses need not be in the same discipline) (6-10 Credits)

CS 201, CS 202 and all other CS courses counted toward the major must be completed with a minimum grade of “C.” To continue in the major, students who do not meet this requirement must repeat the course before taking any other course for which this course is a prerequisite.
