  • Two additional Mathematics courses for major credit selected from the following list in consultation with an advisor: MTH 232, MTH 233, MTH 236, MTH 240, MTH 250, any 300 or 400 level MTH class. 6-8 Credits
  • One laboratory-based course acceptable for major credit in Biology, Chemistry or Physics to complete the sequence from the college core (such as BIO 102, BIO 225, CHM 110, PHY 102). 4-5 credits
  • Two additional courses in Biology, Chemistry or Physics acceptable for major credit (courses need not be in the same discipline). 6-10 credits

Index Requirement


CS 201, CS 202 and all other CS courses counted toward the major must be completed with a minimum grade of  of “C”. To continue in the major, students who do not meet this requirement must repeat the course before taking any other course for which this course is a prerequisite.
