The Masters of Science in Finance is designed for those individuals who prefer focused studies related to finance rather than the broader course of study available in the MBA program.

Most students with a business background can complete the MS in Finance by taking 12 courses (36 credits) as shown in the table below.

Required Courses (4) (12 credits):

FIN 610 - Operation of the Financial System Credits: 3
FIN 625 - Financial Futures, Options And Swaps Credits: 3
FIN 640 - Investment Analysis Credits: 3
FIN 675 - Corporate Financial Strategy Credits: 3

Finance Electives (6) (18 credits):

Complete six advanced courses in finance (600 level and above).

Other Electives (2) (6 credits):

Complete two other approved advanced business courses from FIN or other disciplines.
