Choose four Elective courses based on the following guidelines:
At least two of these courses must be at the 300-400 level.
At least one course must be outside of the student’s Major discipline.
Please note that some courses may have course prerequisites or require Department Chair or Instructor approval to enroll.
The selection of courses is made jointly by the student and a Black Studies faculty advisor. Students who have a strong interest in Black Studies are encouraged to take as many courses that are in line with their interests and that their schedules and course requirements will accommodate.
Additional courses may be considered for general Elective credit after consulting with a Black Studies faculty advisor.
