(5-Year Program)
This program will allow students to complete a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Master of Science in Computer Science in five years. One specific objective of the program is to prepare students to enter the field of Computational Chemistry. In general, the program allows students to acquire expertise in two distinct knowledge bases so that they will possess the capability to manage technological applications and innovations across both disciplines. Graduates will be prepared to pursue advanced degrees or enter the industry.
We offer two tracks in this five-year program: (1) ACS certified BS in CHM/MS in CS, and (2) BS in CHM/MS in CS.

- CS 780 - Software Project Development: Design, 3 Credits
- CS 784 - Software Project Development: Implementation, 3 Credits

- CS 980 - Thesis Preparation Seminar, 3 Credits
- CS 981 - Thesis, 3 Credits
Note:
To continue in the program, a student must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the Computer Science courses.
