The Fine and Performing Arts Department offers a Minor Program with an 18 credit concentration in either dance, music, visual arts or theatre. Interested students should contact the FPA Department Chairperson.

The FPA Minor Program (18 credits)

5 courses (15 credits) in area of concentration with specified courses.
1 course (3 credits) in alternate area

FPA 245 - Introduction to Choreography 3 Credits
FPA 244 - Introduction to Ballet 3 Credits
FPA 260 - Jazz Dance: From Roots to Hip Hop and Beyond 3 Credits

6-9 credits The Iona College Dance Ensemble

3-6 credits of either

FPA 240 - Introduction to World Dance Forms 3 Credits
FPA 275 - Women in Dance 3 Credits
FPA 220 - Dance Appreciation 3 Credits
FPA 298 - Dance Outreach 3 Credits

3 credits in music, theatre or visual arts
