Major Requirements

Students who choose to major in Italian must complete the following:

Prerequisite

A minimal proficiency at the intermediate level of the language is required for any 300 or 400 level course.

A. Major Courses

Three additional courses or nine credits chosen from the 300 and 400 level courses under the direction of the department chair or adviser.

ITA 305 - Advanced Italian Composition 1 3 Credits or
ITA 306 - Advanced Italian Composition 2 3 Credits
ITA 307 - Advanced Italian Conversation 1 3 Credits or
ITA 308 - Advanced Italian Conversation 2 3 Credits
