All students graduating from the Hagan School of Business must complete the following business degree core requirements:

Students majoring in accounting must complete the following:

A. Major Courses

ACC 305 - Intermediate Accounting I 3 Credits
ACC 310 - Intermediate Accounting II 3 Credits
ACC 315 - Cost Measurement and Analysis 3 Credits
ACC 316 - Advanced Financial Accounting 3 Credits
ACC 405 - Federal Income Taxation I 3 Credits
ACC 410 - Federal Income Taxation II 3 Credits
ACC 411 - Government and Nonprofit Accounting 3 Credits
ACC 420 - Auditing Principles and Procedures 3 Credits

B. Laboratory Requirements

Students registered for ACC 305 , ACC 310 , ACC 315 , and ACC 316 must attend scheduled laboratory hours.

C. CPA Exam Requirements

To qualify for CPA exam admission students must complete IDS 300 - Business Communications , as either a Business or Liberal Arts Elective; and BEC 325 - Dimensions of International Business , as a business elective as part of the New York State 150 - credit licensure-qualifying program.

D. Comprehensive Requirement

There is no comprehensive requirement for the accounting major.
