IS 682 - Practicum in Business Resiliency This course builds upon the foundations of risk management, business continuity planning, disaster management, crisis management and systems security to develop a comprehensive business resilience program for an organization. This course will cover the key components of a resiliency plan, survey the regulatory requirements, including privacy laws, discuss the human aspects of implementing the plan, and provide guidance in selecting the right tools for the organization to support the plan. Enterprise risk management will be discussed. This course will identify how the myriad of threats can be addressed by a well-structured plan and why just having a plan is no guarantee of survival. Students will have an opportunity to develop and evaluate various business continuity plans. Lecture Credits: 3
