EDU 920 - The Role of the Non-Public Schools in American Education The course offers an historical, economic and sociological analysis of the role of non-public schools in American society. The reasons for the development of various non-public systems will be examined; the course will emphasize the present rationales and impacts of the non-public schools on American education. The course will focus on the role of the parochial school in the urban and suburban settings. Lecture Credits: 3 Offered When Needed
