SPA 251 - Intermediate Hispanic Culture Through Conversation II

This is the second course in a two-course sequence in intermediate Spanish. It is designed as a bridge between elementary courses and higher-level language and literature courses. This course focuses on the development of language skills at the advanced intermediate level while it explores topics central to Hispanic history and culture. Emphasis is put on integrating the basic grammatical structures of the language into proficiency-oriented activities focusing on culturally relevant topics. Course is conducted in Spanish. Students enrolling in this course will normally have three college semesters of study of the Spanish language, or the equivalent.
