SPA 321 - Introduction to Translation

This is an introductory course in translation intended for students of Spanish. As such, this class will combine theory and practice to approach the basics of translation. The main focus is on translating a wide range of different texts: literary/non-literary/technical, etc. The translations will be from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English and will provide an overview of techniques used in translation.
