HW 445 - Health and Wellness Internship


This course is an applied learning experience and requirement for Health and Wellness majors. The internship is intended to provide an opportunity to learn in a career setting and apply health promotion and advocacy concepts learned in coursework. Students will complete an internship experience in an agency, business or setting that provides community or public health promotion and advocacy services and supports. Application of skills in health promotion and advocacy assessment, planning, programming, evaluation, and advocacy are targeted.
