OT 517 - Behavioral and Mental Health: Principles, Assessment and Intervention In this course, students explore the occupational performance and participation needs of persons with mental health disorders, learn client-centered occupational therapy evaluation methods and evidenced-based occupation-based intervention approaches and methods. This course reinforces and applies previous learning related to human development, psychology, introduction to OT, and OT Process. It integrates and reinforces co-requisite coursework in occupational group process and leadership. As part of this course, students participate in an Interprofessional Education Foundational module.
