SOW 4910 - Social Work Capstone The Social Work capstone course has three purposes:

To foster students’ exploration and understanding of ethical issues and dilemmas that confront social workers in practice with clients, colleagues, supervisors, agencies and communities. Models for ethical decision-making are presented and applied.

To provide a locus for oversight and coordination of the Senior Capstone Conference, with the course instructor serving as mentor in the presentation preparation process.

To support students’ in the compilation of a professional electronic social work portfolio.
