EDU 762 - Methods in Elementary Science Education: Life Sciences

This course will teach methods for developing hands-on science lessons which draw their content from the life sciences. The course will stress inter-disciplinary education and an inquiry style of teaching. It will discuss the appropriate use of various current materials, texts, and trade books. The course will be compatible with the New York State Elementary Science Syllabus and its supplements.
