FIN 676 - Advanced Corporate Finance: International Mergers & Acquisitions The primary objectives of the course are to provide for international mergers and acquisitions an explanation of the financial aspects of value creation, a basic understanding of the strategic rational, and to raise the awareness of the legal environment and issues. Topics will include partnerships, alliances & joint ventures, stakeholder concerns, cultural conflicts & differences, and synergies. The course will take a valuation approach based on strategic, ratio, and financial forecasting analysis, and considering leveraged buyouts, spinoffs, divestitures, and recapitalizations. Lecture Credits: 3 Prerequisites: MBA 550 and FIN 620 Offered in Winter Trimester
