IS 616 - Account Information Systems

The Account Information Systems (AIS) course is designed to provide students with the knowledge of how AIS functions and fits into the organization of 21st century business. The course will examine how an information system enhances the internal control over financial reporting and facilitates management’s understanding of organizational status and functions. The course is organized into lectures and laboratory sessions based on Microsoft Access and AIS software.
