FIN 710 - Masters Financial Leadership Project

Students will demonstrate the integration and application of their learning from various courses in the MS in Finance program through an applied project. This will require students to demonstrate the conceptual and practical knowledge they have gained in the program to address real-life financial and leadership challenges. Each student will identify a financial challenge in an organization of their choice or assigned by the professor and will design a context-specific solution to address this challenge. The capstone project will challenge the student to think critically and apply what has been learned. It allows the student to demonstrate the integration of learning accomplished through the program. The capstone project is a real-world application. Rather than a static demonstration of the student’s understanding of the subject matter, the capstone project requires the student to apply the knowledge and experience in a dynamic manner as in a career setting. By integrating basic research skills, acquired knowledge and practical experience, the student will showcase a competitive solution.
