BIO 316 - Microbiology An introduction to the study of microorganisms and immunology. Special consideration to immunity, serology, disease-producing microorganisms, antibiotics and chemotherapy, transduction and transformation. Specific topics include definition and relationships of antigens and antibodies, host-antigen interactions, bursal and thymal influences on lymphoid cells, and humoral and cellular response mechanisms. Lecture 4 Credits Prerequisite: BIO 102 . Prerequisite or Corequisite: CHM 110 Offered in the Spring Semester
