CS 451 - Operating Systems This course presents the fundamental concepts of the operating system technology. Topics include program implementation, computer organization, data and storage structures, different types of operating systems and their structure (job control, storage allocation, supervisors, etc.). Assignments include simulation of small operating systems that will be programmed on a large machine, or mini/micro computer. Formerly CIS 470.
