OT 525 - Level Fieldwork 1 in Adult Health Care In this course, students integrate academic learning related to adult health care through directed observation and participation in selected aspects of the occupational therapy process in settings where adult clients receive occupational therapy services. Under supervision, students participate in therapeutic interactions with individual clients as appropriate. The focus of this experiential course is to develop students’ clinical observation skills, ability to apply skills learned in academic courses, and skills for designing individualized occupation-based interventions. Students must complete 40 hours of observation/participation of occupational therapy services in an adult health care setting for successful completion of this course. Practicum Credits: 1 Prerequisites: OT 500 , OT 503 , OT 505 , OT 506 , OT 507 , OT 510 , OT 511 , OT 516 , OT 517 , and OT 518 Offered in the Summer Department Consent Required
