The BA/MA in English allows a student to streamline their education and complete the Bachelors Degree and the Masters Degree in English in five years, rather than the six years it would ordinarily take to complete the degrees seperately.
Beginning in the junior year, a student enrolled in the five-year combined BA/MA program will take 15 graduate credits while completing the 30 credits of the undergraduate major. The 15 graduate credits will count toward the 120 credits required for the BA degree and the 30-33 credits required for the MA in English. In the fifth year, the student will complete 15-18 graduate credits.
To enter the program, students must have attained a 3.3 undergraduate GPA overall and a 3.5 GPA in their undergraduate English courses.
