IS 440 - Audit and Control of Information Systems This course introduces the concepts of computer-based auditing and control of information systems. Various types of layered control structures are discussed in the context of a secure environment. Hardware, software and personnel controls are presented along with audit strategies for successful implementation. Audit programs for advanced concepts in information systems (database, networks) are developed. A course project implementing CAAT is required. Lecture 3 Credits Prerequisite: BUS 150 Not Liberal Arts Offered in the Fall Semester
