BIO 125 - Environmental Science I


This course is an introduction into environmental science for majors in Environmental Science. This course will provide students with the underlying science behind common environmental issues and give insight into the way that the science is applied in the environmental movement and the general public. The course will give an overview of issues such as climate change, energy use, pollution, habitat loss, and water relations. The laboratory will introduce students to field and laboratory exercises that are commonly used by environmental scientists to collect and analyze data. This course may be used to fulfill the science course required for the core curriculum.
