FPA 205 - Introduction to the Theatre, Theatre Foundations

An overview of the nature, purpose and functions of theatre, with a focus on the origins of theatre, the developments of the audience, performer, director, design elements and the theatre in the European continent. Attendance at The Iona University Theatre Ensemble production as well as attendance at a New York City theatre event is required.
