HST 315 - Civil War and Reconstruction A study of the causes and events leading to the war between the American states, political and economic developments in North and South, the military progress of the war and the role of President Lincoln. The course concludes with an analysis of the political, constitutional, economic, and social consequences of Reconstruction. Lecture Credits: 3 Prerequisite: ENG 120 or Honors Status.
