IS 432 - Predictive Analytics for Business This course covers the application of predictive analytics to describe and classify businesses in an organization, and to explore opportunities for future development. These techniques can be instrumental in understanding various business models and optimizing the cost of doing business. In this course, students will learn how statistical models such as those produced by multiple regression analysis and factor analysis are used to determine the critical success factors and key performance indicators in various areas of business operations. Other predictive analytical tools covered in this course include discriminant analysis, cluster analysis, and conjoint analysis. Analytical tools will be used to analyze a variety of business models such as bricks-and-clicks, direct sales, and franchise models. Lecture Credits: 3 Prerequisite: BUS 150 Offered When Needed
