SPA 260 - Latinx Experience in the United States This course explores the history and cultural production of Latinx communities in the United States, focusing on the experiences of Chicanos, Puerto Ricans, Cuban-Americans, and Dominican-Americans. Students will analyze literary works and other artistic productions, such as visual and performance arts, together with socio-political documents and cultural essays. Through those writings, films, visuals, and field trips, the course will address the socio-economic and political conditions that have shaped the experiences of the different Latinx groups. Course is taught in English. Lecture Credits: 3 Offered in Spring Semester
