BIO 108 - Body Structure and Function An introductory course, without laboratory, in basic human anatomy and physiology. Topics to include the following systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive. The laboratory section of this course will involve the examination of human anatomical models and experiments in basic physiology. Students will make a presentation on a specialized topic, based on the student’s major (e.g. Speech Communication Studies majors may do a project on disorders of the ear, nose and throat). Lecture 3 Credits Prerequisites: BIO 101 or STL 100 Offered in the Fall Semester
