NUR 425 - Clinical Judgment II This course provides students with a critical foundation for translating nursing content knowledge into an observed outcome of critical thinking and decision making that is essential to safe and effective clinical practice. Students will integrate learned theories and concepts when implementing the nursing process to care for complex adult problems, women issues, the childbearing family, and the pediatric population in the skills laboratory and the simulated patient care setting through an interprofessional lens. Students will apply concepts of clinical judgment, identify individual goals toward achievement, develop a plan to address learning needs and performance gaps, and demonstrate progress toward the development of clinical judgment. Evaluation tools are utilized to assess the level of performance in clinical judgment and evaluate the student’s proficiency in essential nursing skills. This course offers interprofessional education opportunities. Laboratory Credits: 2 Prerequisite: NUR 325
