The Fine and Performing Arts Department offers the BA in Arts Leadership, an inter-disciplinary degree that trains students interested in a career in arts and arts administration. Having selected a concentration in music, theatre or dance, students take classes in business and mass communications as the degree prepares its graduates for jobs in performance centers, schools, theatres and public places.

Students may select a minor (18 credits) in any of the four concentrations in the Fine and Performing Arts Department: theatre, music, visual arts or dance. The music minor enables a student to focus their study in performance or music history.

The program in fine and performing arts offers courses applicable to the college core, and elective courses for all programs. These courses include music, theatre, dance, and visual art.
