Ethics Minor
|
|
The Ethics Minor is designed to foster critical thinking and reflection on a range of moral issues that bear significantly on personal and public life. The minor can complement a broad spectrum of majors in science, allied health, business, technology, social sciences, the arts, and humanities by providing students with an ethical framework for addressing challenging issues that emerge in any professional field. The program is flexible enough to allow students to select courses that directly relate to their major programs. With a focus on the practical significance of ethical reasoning, it will also provide students with the critical tools that will enable them to navigate through an increasingly complex world and to make informed personal choices in everyday moral life. The program will also provide opportunities for students to engage in service learning and other modes of experiential learning.
