Writing Minor

Requirements

Students who minor in writing will hone the critical, creative and communication skills that make them truly stand out in their academic and professional lives. 

The Writing Minor requires the completion of any four of the following courses (3 credits each):

• ENG 358 - Advanced Writing : Strategies and Skills Credits: 3
• ENG 451 - Creative Writing: Poetry Credits: 3
• ENG 452 - Creative Writing Fiction Credits: 3
• ENG 454 - Digital Age Writing, Reading and Living Credits: 3
• FLM 450 - Script Writing Credits: 3
• MSC 350 - Narrative Screenwriting Credits: 3
• MSC 370 - Writing and Storytelling for Public Relations Credits: 3
